1. Grind the bevel by holding the tool parallel to the floor and at a slight angle (about 10 degrees) as shown above. As you begin grinding rotate the shaft clockwise to about 20 degrees. Continue this routine until the bevel almost reaches the inside of the hook.

2. After step 1, continue grinding the bevel while rotating the tool clockwise from about 20 degrees to about 45 degrees while swinging the tool handle from the starting point of 10 degrees to the left to about 50 degrees. Try to make a continuous smooth move. Repeat this step until the bevel almost reaches the inside of the hook. This should give you a rough profile of the bevel.
